About Me

Hi, my name is Anisha, a physical therapist and Ayurvedic Practitioner. Born in Nairobi, Kenya and raised in South Georgia, my own experiences with health challenges and life transitions shaped my understanding of healing as something far deeper than the physical body.

After earning my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016, I began exploring holistic approaches that honor the mind, body, and spirit. My studies in Ayurveda have since become a profound complement to my work, guiding both my personal and professional path.

I continue to practice physical therapy while supporting individuals with pain, debility, PTSD, chronic anxiety and depression, fatigue, and gut health—helping each person find steadiness and renewal through an integrated approach to care.

Transforming Health Naturally

Ayurveda found me during a time when I felt lost, anxious, and deeply unsettled. Conventional medicine only offered solutions that didn’t feel aligned with the kind of healing I was seeking.

Through Ayurveda, I began to understand myself more deeply. With simple lifestyle changes, nearly 70% of my panic attacks disappeared. I realized that healing wasn’t just about managing symptoms— it was about returning to balance. Ayurveda helped me rediscover a sense of peace and wholeness I hadn’t known was possible.

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda directly translates to “science of life”. It is the ancient system of natural healing that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. It teaches that true health comes from balance between the body, mind, spirit, and rhythms of nature.

Here, we look into the root cause of imbalance. Through personalized nutrition, lifestyle, herbal suggestions and daily rituals, the goal is to help you align with your unique consititution and restore the body’s innate ability to heal itself.

  • The number of visits varies for each person whether you are getting Physical therapy services or Ayurvedic treatement. Ayurveda views healing as a gradual and individualized process, so the frequency and duration of care depend on your specific concerns, goals, and how your body responds over time.

For Ayurvedic sessions, Most clients begin with an initial consultation followed by 1–3 follow-up sessions to refine and support their plan. Some continue with periodic check-ins for ongoing guidance, while others prefer more structured support as they make deeper lifestyle changes.

There is no set number of sessions—your care plan is always personalized, and you can move at the pace that feels right for you.

For Physical Therapy treatments, the timeline depends on the chronicity and severity of your condition. Treatment sessions needed may range from 4-6-12 sessions. That is why I have also created package options for those number of follow up sessions to help streamline your healing journey just a little bit!

  • At this time, we do not accept insurance for either Ayurvedic services or physical therapy. All services are offered on a self-pay basis.

Ayurveda is a traditional system of medicine and is not a licensed medical system in the United States; therefore, Ayurvedic consultations are not covered by insurance. Physical therapy services are also provided outside of insurance in order to offer longer, more individualized sessions without visit limits or treatment restrictions.

This self-pay model allows for highly personalized care, one-on-one attention, and treatment plans tailored to your unique needs and goals.

We are happy to provide detailed receipts or superbills for physical therapy services upon request, which you may submit to your insurance provider or use with HSA/FSA accounts if applicable.
